Since 1993 Garz & Fricke are located in the Tempowerkring in Hamburg-Harburg.
In the past, continuous economic growth required a spatial extension, too. Since summer 2005 with the move of the manufacutring plant and the storage, the entire company is unified in one building with an area over 2.000 m² for offices and factory. The building is part of the Hit-Technology Park. This technology and foundation center was initiated by the TU Harburg and is the ideal location for a number of young innovative companies.
The area has a historical industrial background. Its name is a reference to the famous TEMPO truck, that was manufactured and sold with big success from 1935 till 1969 on the very spot.
In those days the vehicle was very innovative and a passport to the transportation system in Germany. Nowadays, the TEMPO is still produced in Poona, India.
