Miniature HMI with 400 MHz CPU and CAN or RS-485


NESO LT 4.3 open frame is an ARM9 based embedded system with a 4.3" touch display. Both, display and PCB are mounted onto a subplate made of stainless steel. The PCB is protected by a cover of the same material.
Our open frame systems are designed for customers, who want to install a ready-to-run kit into their own end-devices. You will fully benefit from our hardware and software know-how, whilst your R&D team can concentrate on their main business.
The fanless human machine interface (HMI) is also available in a complete housing with front cover as NESO LT 4.3 boxed. For minor modifications, such as the lashes of the subplate, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The 400 MHz Freescale i.MX25 ARM926 CPU offers enough power for sophisticated applications. NESO LT will be shipped either with Windows Embedded CE or Linux.
Starter Kits with preinstalled ROM images for Windows Embedded CE or Linux as well as optimized driver and support packages simplify the project entry.

NESO LT 4.3 open frame CAN

On NESO LT systems, there is installed a BIOS with RedBoot boot loader. The configuration can be simply modified via RS232 or Telnet. The devices will be shipped with a standardized operating system (ROM-Image) and related drivers and libraries. You might choose between Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 and Linux.For the current status and scope of drivers and features, please check the related release notes:

To customize the operating system to the individual requirements of your application, the Windows CE board support package (BSP) is required, which is available as binary for download on our FTP Server.
To use the BSP, the Microsoft Platform Builder is essential. You may need to purchase this additonal software from one of the Microsoft Windows Embedded distributors.

Our Starter Kits are allround no-worry packages and will enable you to start your project development immediately. This means, not only all the cables are included, but also BSPs, SDKs, sample code and documentation stored onto a USB stick.Available NESO LT Starter Kits:
