Dr Arne Dethlefs becomes CEO of Garz & Fricke Inc.

Through its US subsidiary, Garz & Fricke is providing support for its growing business in the USA and Canada while also strengthening its presence in North America. Since 2016, Dethlefs has been in charge of production for the Hamburg technology firm but now, in summer of the coming year, will be passing on this position to Sören Göttsche, who is currently Head of Industrial Engineering.

Dr Arne Dethlefs studied mechanical engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and in 2015 was awarded the postgraduate degree of Dr.-Ing. at the TU Berlin for his work on the principles of vibratory finishing. Before taking up his position with Garz & Fricke, Dethlefs worked as a project leader at the Institute for Machine Tools and Factory Management at the Technische Universität Berlin and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK.
