With the takeover of the software service provider e-GITS GmbH from Stuttgart in March 2019, the development of the group of companies into the leading one-stop shop system provider of HMIs, vending machines and payment systems was accelerated. The managing director also pointed out the recently announced acquisition of Keith & Koep: "We have known and valued Keith & Koep for over 20 years. While we supply our customers with Single Board Computers and Human Machine Interfaces as well as application software, our new partner specializes in System on Modules. With this acquisition we will become a special size for ARM-based embedded boards in Europe with 180 employees".
Focus on organic growth
Manfred Garz then focused on the company's previous successes and further goals. "The acquisition of Keith & Koep provides us with growth opportunities for our products in the MedTech sector and the opportunity to establish Keith & Koep's System on Modules with our customers in the United States. In addition, by pooling our expertise, we will be able to jointly develop new products with a high degree of innovation that will benefit all our customers.“ According to the managing director, Garz & Fricke was able to increase its turnover and expects a further increase for 2020. A significant part of this is due to the high quality products from the embedded systems sector. And also the cashless payment terminal for vending machines TOPP - KarL4 is on its way to becoming the number 1 in cigarette vending machines.
