Garz & Fricke Group, one of the largest European system providers for Arm-based embedded systems, has a new CEO: Stefan Heczko has been appointed to the position effective per July 20, 2020. The change is a consequence of the group’s growth and the scheduled departure of Manfred Garz, one of the two company founders. Stefan Heczko will join Matthias Fricke, the second company founder, and the CFO Marc-Michael Braun to form the management triumvirate of the group. Before joining Garz & Fricke, Heczko was CEO of Alltec GmbH (FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving), a leading manufacturer of laser marking systems. He brings with him many years of management experience from his leadership of international technology companies.
“Garz & Fricke Group displays impressive development and has established an excellent position for itself in preparation for the next stage of its growth,” noted Stefan Heczko in describing the corporate group with locations in Hamburg, Wuppertal, and Stuttgart as well as branch offices in the USA and India. He intends to enhance further the innovative power, the system scope, and the internationalization of the corporate group with the aim of reinforcing its successful market position for the provision of integrated customer solutions in the sector of embedded technologies and IoT.
“In appointing Stefan Heczko to this position, we have brought on board a successful growth expert with the knowledge and experience required to exploit the potential of Garz & Fricke Group and to translate our strength into market share,” declared Matthias Fricke.
Subsequent to the takeovers of the software specialist e-GITS from Stuttgart and the processor module specialist Keith & Koep from Wuppertal, Garz & Fricke Group has within just under a year become a full-service provider with headquarters in Hamburg and offices in Wuppertal, Stuttgart, Minneapolis (USA), and Chennai (India).
