Based on an ARM CPU from the i.MX6 family, the HMI with PCAP touch extends the current HMI line by adding a further device designed for outdoor use. With its full-HD (1920 x 1080) high-brightness display (850 cd/m²) in combination with a wide viewing angle (85°/85°) and optionally available optical bonding, it stands out thanks to outstanding readability and an extremely clear display.
An integrated ambient light sensor enables it to adapt ideally to changing lighting conditions and thus guarantee good legibility at all times while maintaining a low energy consumption.
The integrated mini-PC interface allows easy integration of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth communication. A wide-range input voltage (max. 9 – 32 V DC) also provides a high level of flexibility in terms of power supply.
Other interfaces such as RS-232, RS485, USB 2.0 and 100 Mbit/s Ethernet are part of the standard equipment for Garz & Fricke HMIs from the SANTOKA family as a general rule.
A choice of LINUX Yocto or Android operating systems is available. The Qt framework license optionally available in the bundle also provides an especially convenient means of creating the GUI.
The rear-mount and open-frame design of the housing is ideally suited, for example, to integration in vending machine fronts. An extended operating temperature range as well as moisture protection means that it is ideal for applications in areas such as smart vending and ticketing.
In addition to the standard equipment, customer-specific adaptations and variations are always possible from Garz & Fricke on request.
